Biba Girl
These pictures were shot in a vintage shop in Sheffield. The shop in question is dirty and smelly, but thats what I like about it. Its got character! Like a old fashioned pub that hasnt lost its charm by having a modern makeover. We gave the model a Biba inspired look about her with washes of different colours on her eyes, defined sharp dark lip with curly bouncy hair but still looking modern and chic.
Simple Black and White
Love these pictures so much, everything about them is simple and effortless. Sometimes simple black and white photos can have the biggest impact. This shoot has definitely inspired to shoot with more male models!

The Dark Side
Another shoot with the talented Craig Fleming, Natalie Shafii and Stephanie Slater. Clothes were provided by a new up and coming designer Ashley Jones. The clothes were very avent garda and wouldnt look out of place on a Gareth Pugh runway. So we wanted to give the clothes justice. Natalie some how (dont ask me how!???) gave the model coned shaped hair, which looks amazing. I didnt want the the overall look to be too fussy so i kept the makeup pretty slick by giving a defined dark lip, (with Illamasqua black lipstick with Mac white lipmix) perfecting her skin, (with Makeup Forever foundation, Mac prolong wear concealer, Mac finishing powder, Mac Mineralize powder) defining brows (with Mac lingering & stud eyebrow pencils) and keeping eyes bare not even putting any mascara on.

Pop of colour
These are a set of beauty looks a did today. I wanted to keep the overall look, looking no makeup makeup with pops of colour on the lips. I like the look of how the bright colour on the lips sits along her bare looking skin. I wanted to create an almost beautiful alien look about the model.

Kid Acne Art Exhibition
This month I was makeup artist on artist Kid Acne's trailer for his art exhibition "Kill your Darlings" currently showing at Sheffield Millennium Gallery. Kid Acne has showcased his work all over the world in the past but this is his first exhibition in his home town of Sheffield. Anybody not familiar with the name Kid Acne, may be familiar with his work. Some of his graffiti style work has become iconic on the streets of Sheffield.

Wella Shoot
This is my work from a few weeks ago for the Wella colour competition for Wigs and Warpaint hair salon in Sheffield. Claire who did the hair has since gone through to the finals of the competition. Beatrix is now one of my favourite models I have ever worked with, she looks utterly amazing on camera.

New York shoot
This is my work from a shoot I did in New York in March. These are a set of portraits where the models are looking almost fragile and flawed.

Colour wash
This is from my work with the amazing photographer Craig Fleming. The whole look was inspired by watercolour where i wanted the colours to flow seamlessly and softly together. To create something almost futuristic but still pretty and beautiful.

Preview of shoot with Elliot Townsend
Preview of a shoot with photographer Elliot Townsend, shot at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, New York. Models were Michelle and Julia at APM Model Management.
The brief was to make the models look baby dollish. Almost like they were once perfect looking but now they are flawed and damaged looking.
I used no mascara, and brought out the natural dark tones and tiredness around the eyes. I also added hardly no warmth to the skin to create a fragile porcelian look.
